Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! This is a great holiday to get creative and celebrate. In the spirit of Halloween, I handmade this card below. It's my version of a grown-up Halloween card that's reminiscent of a childhood favorite. The inside should read: On this day, eat too much candy, dress up in a ridiculous costume and have more fun than you've had in a while.

Dream Big: Selling on Etsy

I dream of having my own company and getting paid to do what I love. I enjoy reading about entrepreneurs and how they made their hobby into a successful business. My hobby of choice is crafting. One of my dreams is to sell handmade stationery, greeting cards, and other paper crafts. Over the last two weeks I've been working on launching my own shop on Etsy. I registered a name and made two card samples. I have a lot to do before the shop is official but I'm excited to be heading in the right direction. Tomorrow I'll show you a Halloween card I made. Whatever your big dream is, I hope you're pushing yourself to make it come true.

Revel In Good Advice

It's so easy to wonder why your friends don't take your good advice when you see red flags that they're oblivious to or choosing to ignore. But when it's you who's in jeopardy of losing perspective you can fool yourself into thinking you've got a handle on things, everything's ok, you're smarter...yea, sure. Let's be honest girls...this is usually about a guy from your past who has a unique hold on you. Those moments are less about the guy and more about the love of your amazing friends that get you through the situation. I'm blessed to have friends who care enough about me to say be careful and lend me their good sense when I need it.  Do what you have to do but never forget the advice from the people that love you. Happy Saturday.
